Mayfield Junior School: Mustang Sports Opening Season

Mustang Sports started the year with a strong first season. Both Mayfield Junior School’s A and B football teams went undefeated in the Middle School Independent League. The A team not only won the championship but also won the league tournament beating both Poly and Chandler.

Mayfield’s girls A volleyball team had another wonderful season with a 4-3 record and made the league tournament finals. The B volleyball team ended their season with a 5-2 record and all team members were amazing in their determination and sportsmanship.

MJS also want to give a shout out to all the sixth graders that participated in football and volleyball tournaments at the Rose Bowl and at Westridge the season. Mayfield definitely have a lot of talent for future A and B teams!
