Nature expert and poet Diane Lang is coming to visit K-3 for a lively presentation all about animals—especially the “yucky” ones like buzzards and tarantulas who don’t get a lot of love from us humans.

Diane Lang will be visiting High Point Academy on March 7th. The event consists of a presentation about her new book, Daytime, Nighttime, All Through the Year, followed by a book signing. Diane Lang has been sharing nature with children for the last 15 years—teaching classes, working with raptors such as hawks and owls, leading walks, and writing poems and short plays about animals and the world they live in. She volunteers at three nature
