New Horizon School Students at the Daniel Pearl Music Day

These are some of the things New Horizon School students got to experience at the Daniel Pearl Music Day at the Pasadena Jewish Temple & Center. The 5th and 6th graders had the exciting opportunity to perform in front of a live audience as well as interact and create networks with students from other schools!

Daniel Pearl Music Days celebrates the universal language of music to inspire unity and interfaith in memory of Daniel Pearl. Daniel Pearl was a journalist and musician who was murdered by terrorists in 2002. His parents started the Daniel Pearl Foundation in hopes of creating cross- cultural understanding and unison among all people.

The Daniel Pearl Music concerts are the only multi-faith children’s concert in the world and New Horizon School is proud to give its students the chance to be a part of it!
