Nine PUSD Students Awarded Scholarships



Nine Pasadena Unified SchoolDistrict (PUSD) students were awarded college scholarships from the Masons of California as part of the celebration of Public Schools Month at Jefferson Elementary School today. At the event, the Masons announced their donation of more than $100,000 to support teachers and students in Pasadena, Glendale, and Burbank-area public schools, part of a $750,000 statewide donation.

Part of this donation are scholarships to PUSD students as part of the Masons’ Investment in Success Scholarship Program. Students who receive these scholarships are deserving high school seniors who have demonstrated exemplary character, drive, and scholastic potential despite challenges intheir homes or communities.

Jackelyn Travis John Marshall Fundamental Secondary School
Perla Villegas John Muir High School
