Palm Crest Elementary School’s Grace Lee Gleeful for DonorsChoose

Palm Crest’ Grace Lee and her second grade students are the happy recipients of various forms of Time for Kids thanks to donations that came through DonorsChoose.org.

DonorsChoose.org is an online charity that makes it easy for anyone to help students in need. The concept was created in 2000 by Charles Best a social studies teacher in the Bronx who figured out a way for individuals to connect directly with classrooms and classroom needs.Thanks to DonorsChoose.org, the students in Room 9 are now receiving two basic bundles of Time for Kids plus a Country Study Time for Kids for Nearpod TFK on Nearpod.

Said Ms. Lee, “These items will be used for our nonfiction writing unit. We are excited to use them.”
