Pasadena City College to Host the 12th Annual Young African American Males Conference

The community is invited to join the 12th Annual Young African American Males Conference themed “Connectivity” on Saturday, October 20, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Pasadena City College’s Creveling Lounge with Keynote Speaker Darrin Lyons.

This event is recommended for Young African American males Ages 13-21. The event will feature Student Workshops, Parents Workshops and more. Highlights include Continental Breakfast & Lunch, Bus Transportation by PUSD, Scavenger Hunt and Valuable Prizes!

The purpose of this conference is to expose young African American males to college, teach them how to manage real life situations and inculcate the will to succeed. The conference intends to create an atmosphere of determination; determination to prevail against all odds.
