Every spring Pasadena Educational Foundation’s community of supporters gathers together to “celebrate our schools,” hear inspirational speakers, and honor champions of public education on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, 6:00 p.m. at the Pasadena City Hall Courtyard. PASED’s “Celebrating Our Schools” spring event supports the work of the Pasadena Educational Foundation to support the priorities and forward-thinking initiatives of Pasadena’s school district, and helps PEF provide award-winning art programs, summer school, and cutting-edge classroom technology. The Spring Event is sponsored by individual and business patrons throughout the community.

Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages while you participate in PEF’s student interactive showcase from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Program follows at 6:00 p.m. with Special Guest Speaker Dr. Andrea Armani, an inspiring educator and role model who leads a research group at USC which invents new types of optical devices, like lasers. The event will also honor Pasadena Tournament of Roses for supporting the Pasadena Educational Foundation’s efforts to make an impact on the lives of every student, at every school, every day. Then join with your fellow community members and celebrate under the stars with great food and wonderful conversations. Haven’t been to “Celebrating Our Schools”?
