Pasadena High School (PHS) 2016 Commended National Merit Scholarship Program



Six Pasadena High School (PHS) students were named as Commended National Merit Scholarship Program. Today Principal Barraza presented students with their Commended Certificates from the National Merit Scholarship Corp. The six PHS students are part of the final 34,000 of the 1.5 million students who entered the 2016 competition by taking the 2014 Preliminary PSAT last October. Congratulations to the National Merit Scholarship Commended Students in the 2016 National Merit Program. Well done Hailey M. Gold, Alejandro J. Lopez, Megan C. McCreight, Avery J. Roberts, Nicholas S. Whiting, and Daniel R. Wright!

Commended Students are being recognized for the exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the qualifying test used for the program entry.
