Pasadena High School Tenth Graders Attends 2019 DEA 360 Los Angeles Opioid Awareness Youth Summit



On Thursday, May 2nd the Pasadena High School Bulldogs 10th grade student in the Law and Public Service Pathway attended the 2019 DEA 360 Los Angeles Opioid Awareness Youth Summit hosted by the Los Angeles Field Office of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The goal of the DEA 360 Program is to work togehter to break the cycle of drug trafficking, drug violence and drug abuse. Students heard from representatives of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. In addition, they heard from television personalities Mr. Jack Osbourne, Mr. Brandon Novak and Dr. Drew Pinsky who gave the final presentation and led a panel discussion.
