Pasadena High School’s Lorenzo Cervantes Receives Puente Award



Pasadena High School congratulates Lorenzo Cervantes! Lorenzo is a recipient of the PUENTE Project’s annual Puente Statewide Academic & Leadership Award. He was among twenty-four students, in the state of California, who were recognized for their exemplary Puente leadership spirit and outstanding academic achievement.

To qualify for this award students had to meet the following criteria:

• Must have been in Puente English for the 9th and 10th grade
• Overall academic GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Full time 12th grade student enrolled in 5 or more academic courses
• Demonstrate community leadership
