Pasadena Unified Teachers and Staff Prepare for Start of School
Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) Interim Superintendent Dr. Brian McDonald will deliver his first address to teachers, principals and staff at the annual All-Staff Back to School meeting Thursday, Aug. 14. The first day of school for PUSD students is Monday, August 18.
During the event that kicks off the new academic year, employees will hear about goals for the year, reconnect with each other and honor the PUSD teacher, principal, classified employee and volunteer of the year.
At the conclusion of the event, teachers and employees will head to their campuses to prepare for the arrival of students on August 18.
The PUSD All-Staff Welcome Back to School Event will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2014.
Schedule of the event:
– 7:45 a.m. Continental Breakfast for Employees
– 8:15 a.m. Program begins
– 9:15 a.m. Conclusion
The event will be held at the Pasadena High School Auditorium located at 2925 E. Sierra Madre Blvd., in Pasadena.
