Pasadena Waldorf School’s 10th grade robotics class toured the robotics facilities at JPL last week , including “Mission Control,” where the data transmissions from active missions are sent and received, and the “Mars Yard,” where issues with the Curiosity Rover currently on Mars are reproduced using a similar robot so engineers can fix the problem.

Pasadena Waldorf School thanks the Tour guides: Dr. Ota Lutz from JPL’s education office, and Dr. Alexandra Holloway, one of the engineers on the Curiosity project for sharing their time and for educating the students.
