ALL students are requested to attend and are to be accompanied by a parent. Come to Viking Days for class schedules, PE clothes, lots of helpful information and to experience great Viking school spirit. Besides taking care of business like student ID photos and getting textbooks, Viking Days is a great chance to meet other people, find out about sports teams and activities, and for parents to learn how to get involved.
Mon. Aug. 5 is geared to high schoolers, and Tue. Aug. 6 geared to middle schoolers, but feel free to come whichever day works best for you, and siblings can come together. Quick tip: the longest lines are first thing in the morning.
The packet of necessary forms will be available online and at the school instead of going out in the mail like past years. Details will go out by postcard, but watch for an email this summer providing parents/guardians a link to the forms. Copies of the forms will also be available to pick up at the school.
Blair students can earn community service hours by working at Viking Days, and parent volunteers are needed too.
Answers to specific questions such as Viking Day times, specific fees, payment methods etc. will be found in the summer packet.
Students must be enrolled at Blair before participating in the Viking Days activities. The Blair Registrar will be available on Aug. 5 and 6 and after that to process new student enrollments. Students arriving to enroll should confirm they have all necessary paperwork; details are available here.
