Polytechnic School Football Gets Strong Start to Season

The fall season could not have gotten off to a better start, as both Polytechnic School‘s JV and Varsity football teams notched victories last week against Marshall. The JV started things off on the road by shutting out the Eagles 23-0.

The following night, Varsity took stage under the lights of Pasadena High School and cruised to an impressive 42-7 win, earning Chris Schmoke his first victory as Poly’s head coach. Both teams will be in action again this Saturday, Sept. 7. JV will match up against Brentwood at 11:00 a.m., followed by the Varsity game against Saddleback Valley Christian at 2:00 p.m.
