Today Polytechnic School worked alongside the Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Institute and CSM (Corporación de Servicios Médicos) to make a special delivery of the 7 donated water filters by the students of @poly_k12 to families in barrio Roncador, Utuado. Polytechnic School also learned that these families had their electricity return this week, after 10 months.
In October 2017, the school help to fund the pilot program for Projecto Agua Limpia. This project has distributed over 2,354 @kohler Clarity filters to date bringing potable water to approximately 14,124 Puerto Ricans. Recently the project received a grant to distribute another 30,000 filters. Polytechnic School cannot thank the PAL team enough for the work that they do.
