Polytechnic Students Visits Alum David Wiseman’s Studio

Earlier this month, a group of Polytechnic School AP Studio Art students visited the studio of David Wiseman ’99 whose work in porcelain, bronze, and mixed media has brought him worldwide acclaim. The students learned about David’s work and creative process before being invited to design and create their own original wax sculptures to be cast in bronze. As a mentor to Poly students through the studio visit and PolyConnect lunches, David hopes to offer a unique perspective about choosing a career in the arts or pursuing other causes one might be passionate about.
