PUSD Presents Math Academy’s Info Nights



Learn about PUSD’s Math Academy at Information Nights in September. Math Academy radically accelerates the math curriculum for mathematically gifted students in middle and high school. The program begins in 6th grade and students complete BC Calculus by the end of 8th grade.

What is Math Academy?

Math Academy is a program within the Pasadena Unified School District that radically accelerates the math curriculum for the district’s gifted math students. The program begins in 6th grade with students completing BC Calculus by the end of 8th grade. The high school courses will consist of a variety of undergraduate college level math classes.

Who should attend this information session?

Parents and guardians of talented and enthusiastic 5th grade math students. We will cover details about the program, such as goals and structure; entrance and testing requirements; enrollment and be available to answer your questions.
