Ramona Convent Alumna Meets Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard ’59

Prior to starting the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) program in Baltimore, Maryland, Ramona Convent Alumna Naolin C. ’21 had the pleasure of meeting Congresswoman and alumna Lucille Roybal-Allard ’59. Congresswoman Roybal-Allard provided Naolin with a personal tour, rode the Capital subway, voted from the House Floor and heard the Congresswoman discuss with others about a DACA bill. Naolin is now in Baltimore enrolled in CTY’s Leadership Institute where she will continue to develop her leadership skills through their advanced courses in Service, Leadership, and Community Transformation for the next three weeks. This is Naolin’s third course in the program. She looks forward to coming home and sharing her experience with her peers and applying what she has learned in our school community.
