Ramona Convent Recognized for Excellence in Overall Appearance by City of Alhambra

Each year the city of Alhambra recognizes homes and businesses who have demonstrated a pride of excellence in upkeep and maintenance and whose extraordinary effort adds to the overall appearance of the City’s landscape. Commercial entries are judged on a city wide basis by a team of judges dispatched throughout the city.

This year’s awardees were also recognized for being water-wise. Ramona Convent Secondary School is proud that it was one of the recipients of this year’s awards based on the attractiveness of its entrance on Ramona Road. Ms. Mansell and Sister Kathleen attended the Chamber of Commerce event to accept the award on behalf of the community (pictured above). The award sign is proudly displayed at the entrance to the school.
