Ramona Convent Secondary School: December Recap

Ramona Convent Secondary School Grandparents Day (l) and Annual Fall Concert (r).

With the holiday season is in full swing. Schools are getting in all their exams, activities and performances before winter break begins. Students are having parties, exchanging gifts and counting down the minutes to the last day. Ramona High School is doing the same thing.

Recently, Ramona High School celebrated Grandparent’s Days. Grandparents, Great-grandparents and students enjoyed a lovely time together of lunch and visiting. Grandparents enjoyed a Preview Performance of the school’s Fall Concert and the girls enjoyed introducing their friends to their grandparents.

The school’s Fall Concert took place on December 4th this month. Guests were delighted by holiday favorites as well as music from around the world. The Allegretta Ringers offered up their take on “Jesu, Jesu” and The Espansiva Ringers presented “Trumpet Voluntary.” The chamber singers dazzled with several pieces including some popular pop tunes. The evening finished up with the stirring “Silent Night” and the joyful “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”.

Ramona Convent Secondary School is located at 1701 W. Ramona Rd., Alhambra, CA 91803. Call (626)2824151 or visit www.ramonaconvent.org for more information.
