Ramona Student artists Reanna Salvador ’17 and Jenny Huang ’17 recently completed an environmental installation artwork on the stairs that lead to the lower Dufresne Building. The annual tradition is for Advanced Placement Studio Art students to leave a temporary art work for the school to enjoy for the last days of the school year.
Students are required to create a plan, submit a formal proposal, and have an interview with Ms. Mansell before the piece is installed. Several students have been spotted having their picture taken with it as well as some taking the ever-so-popular “selfies” with the artwork. Thank you, Reanna and Jenny, for using Ramona Convent campus as a canvas to share your gifts and talents.
