Ramona Convent’s Biennial Human Trafficking Assembly Welcomes Kimberly Fitz

Ramona Convent Secondary School (RCSS) concluded Human Trafficking Awareness Month with a biennial Human Trafficking Assembly. This year, its guest speaker was Kimberly Fitz who is herself a survivor of sex trafficking. She is currently a case manager for the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children division of the Children’s Law Center.

Ms. Fitz courageously told her harrowing story of human trafficking to a rapt student body while simultaneously giving important safety advice. Her presentation was followed by a question and answer session and lunch with the Peace and Justice Society in the Parlor.
