Ramona Convent’s Head of School, Officers and Educators Participate in the National Coalition of Girls’ Schools Educating Girls Symposium

Summer is a time for rest as well as intellectual growth for the Ramona community. At the recent National Coalition of Girls’ Schools Educating Girls Symposium “Dream, Dare, Do: Girls as Makers, Inventors, Engineers, and Entrepreneurs,” Sister Kathleen Callaway (Head of School), Ms. Mary E. Mansell (Principal), Ms. Kellee Murayama, and Ms. Annie Green connected with like-minded educators from around the world, all of whom are committed to empowering young women with the confidence and skills to take on challenges and realize their full potential. Themes of the power of creative problem solving, growth mind sets and persistence resonated throughout presentations from featured speakers as diverse as Disney Imagineers, Carnegie Observatory, the Art Center, and NASA Jet Propulsion Lab.
