Semifinalists in the 62nd Annual National Merit Scholarship Program Announced

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation announced semifinalists in the 62nd Annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Semifinalists qualify by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) and earning among the highest scores in the state. Congratulations to Isabel Barbera, Sandra Moore, Olivia Nouriani, Nicholas Michael, Jaeyhung Choi, Kendrick Shen and John Heath. These academically talented SPHS seniors now have opportunity to compete for 7,500 different National Merit scholarships.
