The Sierra Madre Civic Club will once again sponsor the 2018 Halloween Window Painting Contest. Groups are welcome to paint local merchant’s windows in Halloween themes. Certificates of awards will be presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each category.
The Halloween Window Painting Contest is open to youth, ages 9 to 17. Each application requires 2 to 4 participants (of the same age group) to be assigned to a window. At least one participant must be a Sierra Madre resident. Groups will be divided by age; 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-17 years old.
A registration form is to be signed and turned in at Sierra Madre City Hall, located at 232 W. Sierra Madre Blvd. It must be submitted with a drawing of the proposed painting. Please keep all drawings in good taste. No gory or politically motivated drawings will be accepted.
Deadline for submitting your application and proposed drawing will be Thursday, October 11 at 5:00 p.m. at Sierra Madre City Hall.
