Bosco Tech is launching its fundraising campaign to complete Techman Field. Please watch the brief video from the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach, Branden Jones and consider supporting Skin in the Game: The Campaign for Techman Field initiative. Bosco Tech is raising funding for the lighting so they can play home football games starting in late August.
The phrase “skin in the game” is a metaphor for actions on the field of play as well as the sentiment of incurring risk by being involved in achieving a goal. With that being said, Bosco Tech invites the community to Play like a Champion! Champions do more than compete and win on the field – they set the example for others, role model positive behaviors and provide leadership to the group.
As part of the four pillars of Salesianity, Playground is important as it brings fun and play into everyone’s lives. Bosco Tech is deeply proud of each and every student athlete and the school is promoting a positive culture as well as character development in sports for young people. Once these students leave the Tech, they will be prepared to positively impact their communities. Now is the time for Bosco Tech – as an entire community – to continue our tradition of building champions in the classroom, in the Technologies, and in life.
“Let us honor our students’ hard work by providing the facilities they need to succeed! “
