South Pasadena High School Alumni Participate in Baseball Fundraiser

On Saturday, February 8, 2020, more than 40 current and alumni baseball players gathered at South Pasadena High School (SPHS) for a fundraising game for the baseball team. Alumni from various classes were represented, and a few came from as far as Taiwan and Alabama to celebrate and to help build a culture of players supporting players. The alumni players donated $50 toward the game, a souvenir t-shirt, and lunch at the taco bar. Warm-ups began at 9 a.m. followed by introductions at 11:30 a.m. and the opening pitch at noon. Funds raised from this event will be used for items such as batting and training equipment, tournament fees, and banquet expenses.
