South Pasadena Middle School: Masonic Lodge Middle School Essay Contest

The local South Pasadena Masonic Lodge is holding their annual Middle School Essay Contest with this year’s theme: “Commemorating Our Constitution.” Cash prizes include: 1st Place $250: 2nd Place $150, and 3rd Place $100. An Awards Ceremony will be held on September 27th 1:00 p.m. at 1126 South Fair Oaks Ave.

According to the Masonic Lodge, “The program is designed to cause our children and our community to contemplate the meaning and impact of the constitution, how it shapes our lives, and our civic duties as citizens to be vigilant about upholding and protecting the rights it secures.”

Please have your students turn in their essay to the school office. See the attached flyer for more details. Essays are due Sept. 19th by the end of school.
