Southwestern Academy Announces Science Fair Winners

Southwestern Academy’s Ms. Brunjes announced the first, second, and third place science fair winners, which was held recently at the school grounds. It was an interesting final result, with many groups having close scores.

Winners:

1st Place – Annie Hong, Carissa Lane, and Kaia Sherrif with Flour Power
2nd Place – Jeremy Barron and Santy Zuniga with Cigarettes: the New Apex Predator?
3rd Place – Jason Xu and Paul Zeng with Extracting Caffeine from Tea

Southwestern Academy congratulates the winners and further reiterates that the Science Fair intends to encourage and support young scientists in the development of successful longer-term projects to ensure the best outcomes for the community and the world at large. It also ensure that talented early career researchers can feel supported and appreciated at their home soil.
