St. Francis High School is pleased to announce that Matt Luderer has been hired as the school’s new Athletic Director as of July 1, 2013. Matt was selected from amongst a group of extremely well-qualified candidates to lead the St. Francis Athletic Program starting in the 2013-2014 school year. Ted Corcoran, St. Francis’ strength and conditioning trainer and assistant football coach, was also promoted to the Assistant Athletic Director position. St. Francis would like to express its gratitude to Terry Terrazone, the school’s former Athletic Director, for his eighteen years of outstanding service to the St. Francis Athletics Program. Terry’s positive impact will continue as he remains on campus to further serve the St. Francis community.

Matt comes to St. Francis from Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino where he served as the Athletic Director for the past five years. As a graduate of Crespi and Loyola Marymount University, Matt understands the nature of Catholic education as well as the importance of the Franciscan virtues to the mission of St. Francis High School and the direction of the athletics program. When asked about his new position, Matt said, “I feel extremely blessed to work for a school that prioritizes character development through athletics by emphasizing teamwork, respect, perseverance, and good sportsmanship.” St. Francis is excited to welcome Matt into the Golden Knight family and looks forward to the positive impact he will have on the athletics program.
