St. Francis High School Students Participates in the First Afternoon Service of its Partner Capuchin Franciscan Parish in Watts
Yesterday, twenty-five students from St. Francis High School participated in the first afternoon of service with students with its partner Capuchin Franciscan parish, St. Lawrence of Brindisi School in Watts. The Golden Knights helped with homework after school and worked with the SLB students to write notes of gratitude to their teachers. With homework complete, SFHS students led basketball and other fun games with the kids.
The afternoon concluded with a Halloween craft and all SLB students took home a terra cotta pot that they decorated for Halloween. Before heading back to campus, the students decorated the faculty room and left treats for the SLB faculty. St. Francis High School thanks the students for giving so generously of their time, talent, and kindness.
