St. Francis Hosts 16th Annual Sports Medicine Competition



This past weekend St. Francis High School hosted its 16th Annual Sports Medicine Competition on campus in the gym and throughout the upper level classrooms. This regional competition is one of 13 events taking place across the country this year. Each regional events offers students and schools the opportunity to qualify for the AACI National Sports Medicine Competition. In all, 577 high school students from 40 schools across three states (California, Kansas, Washington) competed in St. Francis’ competition. The event also serves as a learning opportunity to interact with other students and sports medicine professionals.

St. Francis’ Sports Medicine Program is pleased to announce that 15 Golden Knights qualified to represent the school as a team for the AACI National Sports Medicine Competition which is scheduled to take place from May 15-19. Charlie Greaves ’17 ranked 13th overall in the Advanced Division and Jacob Marmelejo ’17 earned the 25th position in the Rookie Division.
