St. Mark’s School: “Cans and Coins”

St. Mark’s School and church outreach efforts announces, “Cans and Coins” an outreach program designed to help the less fortunate in the community and beyond.

Starting with the February 17, 2012 Talent Show, collection containers for canned goods and cash will be available at all of St. Mark’s School gatherings for those who wish to make donations. Gifts of all sizes are welcomed. Suggested food donations include canned meats, macaroni and cheese, dry cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned tuna, spaghetti sauce, soup, dry pasta, canned pasta, dried beans, rice, drink mixes, canned fruit/vegetables, and cans of chili – items that may be used to make a meal.

Food donations will benefit the Altadena Food Pantry and funds raised will support St. Mark’s Haitian sister school, Ste. Marguerite.

Please join St. Mark’s School as they support Pasadena’s neighbors in need – donate as much as you are able, when you are able. Every little bit helps. For questions, please contact Dr. Oleson at doreeno@saint-marks.org or Pastor Carri at carripg@saintmarksaltadena.org.
