St. Monica Academy 8th Grade Students Reconstruct Gettysburg Battleground

Included in St. Monica Academy’s 8th grade history curriculum is a unit of the Civil War, with an in-depth analysis of the importance of the Battle of Gettysburg. In order to help his students grasp the strategy underlying the commands of the generals involved, Mr. Curtin worked with his students to reconstruct the Gettysburg battle ground in a three-dimensional display.
