St. Monica Crusaders Girls Varsity Basketball Team Extends Winning Streak to 18 Consecutive Games

The St. Monica Crusaders girls varsity basketball team has extended its impressive winning streak to 18 consecutive games, including two playoff victories: 37-21 against the Wildwood Wolves of Los Angeles and 47-28 versus the Highland Hall Hawks of Northridge. They have now advanced to the CIF Southern Section Quarterfinals, which will be played against California Lutheran of Wildomar this Wednesday, Feb. 25, in Pasadena.

Earlier, the girls had finished their regular season with a decisive 52-19 win over the Le Lycee Lions in Los Angeles on Thursday, Feb. 12 to clinch their second league title. The Crusaders had gone undefeated in league, with a record of 10-0. Their overall record is currently 19-2.
