St. Philip the Apostle School Reverse Science Fair

It is almost that time of year again for St. Philip the Apostle School’s Annual Reverse Science Fair!

St. Philip the Apostle School believe the best way to capture the attention of young minds is to give them the opportunity to see science in action! SPAS is holding its Annual Reverse Science Fair on November 6, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and are searching for those who are willing to spend a Friday afternoon sharing their passion for science with the junior high students (grades 6-8).

Last year a handful of members from the community inspired SPAS students through topics of anatomy, water, athletic science, physics, music/sound, medicine, electricity, and others. Our goal is to continue to inspire our students, engage them in the world around them, and guide them to a deeper appreciation for the field.

If you are interested in presenting to SPAS students, please let Megan France (Science Teacher) know by sending an email at mfrance@stphiliptheapostle.org and she will gladly give you more information. Also, if you know someone who might be interested, please feel free to pass on this information to them. This is a great way to get your hours and inspire students at the same time.
