St. Rita Elementary School Announces Speech Team Winners

Cassie Pichardo and Charlie Hardy took home First Place in Duo Interp at the St. Rita Elementary Speech and Debate Tournament on Saturday. Their outstanding achievement marks the close of an outstanding year for the St. Rita Speech and Debate Team. One of it’s most successful years, ever. And for the first time, it will see one of it’s members heading to the most prestigious tournament of the year. Isaac Martinez, winner of back to back competitions in the Prose category, will compete at the National Forensic Speech and Debate Tournament in Kansas in June. Congratulations to all of the students who participated this year and Mrs. Sally Seymour for her coaching and St. Rita thanks all of the students, Mrs. Harabedian, teachers and staff, who helped run two successful tournaments of their own.
