Stratford School will launch their STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) based curriculum in partnership with Carden Academy at a new location in Mission Viejo on Tuesday, January 17 at 10:00 a.m.
This partnership celebration event highlights this collaboration and Stratford School’s commitment as a member of the local community, while providing a balanced curriculum for students and families in the Mission Viejo area. They will provide outstanding academic achievement in a safe, supportive environment where children are seen and heard while developing into creative problem solvers, innovators and leaders. Stratford’s goal is to prepare and mentor students for admission to competitive high schools and colleges while giving them the tools they need to succeed.
There will be a commemorative celebration featuring school leadership and an address by Mission Viejo Mayor Wendy Bucknum. Staff and students will perform a poem and song, and feature an art show of mosaic mural tiles that will become part of a commemorative wall on campus. Community dignitaries and key project partners, along with Stratford School officials, Carden and Stratford teachers, students and parents will attend.
