“SuperHero Camp and Sports STEM” Starts this Week!

Superhero Camp (5-8 yrs)

Learning the science and technology behind superhero powers! This camp is devoted to designing and constructing superhero-based projects using STEM. Guaranteed fun! But this isn’t child’s play. The activities are carefully designed and coordinated to teach STEM principles to curious young minds. The week is filled with challenges in everything from building gadgets and gears for Batman, engineering a Rube Goldberg machine to help the Avengers, to designing and launching a rocket for Iron Man. Campers’ skills will be put to the test as they dive into physics (egg drop exercise to see if structural design can counter acceleration and force), aerodynamics/flight (building airplanes/paper rockets) and chemistry (grow Kryptonite cystals). This camp will bring out their super-STEM powers for sure!
