Ten South Pasadena High School Semifinalists Recognized by National Merit Scholarship Program



On September 11, 2019, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation announced semifinalists in the  annual National Merit Scholarship Program.  Semifinalists qualify by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) and earning among the highest scores in the state.  Congratulations to Charis Au, Andy Chung, Samuel Clark, Jessica Deng, Evan Kowal, Ella Lewis, Peter Wang, Barnett Yang, Sarah Zenas, and Albert Zhou. These academically talented SPHS seniors now have opportunity to compete for 7,600 different National Merit scholarships.
