The Gooden School First Graders Celebrates National Poetry Month

The Gooden School First Graders are exploring many famous poets and learning what it means to look at everyday objects with “fresh eyes”….just like a poet. The first graders thought about everything they know about seashells, which became an original poem entitled “Little House.” The class recited their poem at morning assembly on April 11.

The Gooden School is at 192 North Baldwin Ave., Sierra Madre. (626) 355-2410 or visit  www.goodenschool.org
