On Friday, The Gooden School’s sixth and seventh-grade STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) class held their first Market Day. Students formed small businesses and built products to sell to their classmates, friends, and family.
The students made homemade stress balls, slime, stickers, and created carnival games with prizes. All the proceeds from the event will be donated to Friends In Deed, an interfaith organization that provides supportive services to homeless and at-risk members of the community.
