The St. Rita School’s Varsity Speech & Debate Team Outstanding Showing in the Southern California Junior Forensic League’s Spring Tournament

The St. Rita School’s Varsity Speech & Debate Team—represented by Isaac Martinez, Allure Shurney, Catherine Bauer, George Gardner, Joseph DeGroot, Lea Lopez and Erin Stutenroth—came away with an outstanding showing at the Southern California Junior Forensic League’s Spring Tournament. Their hard work resulted in top ten showings across the board and in the largest field of competitors at 75 in Prose Interpretation, Isaac Martinez took home First Place!

St. Rita School is grateful to all of the students for representing their school so admirably. And a big thank you to Mrs. Seymour for stepping in to coach the students in their final weeks of preparation.
