Three Flintridge Prep Teams Named CIF Southern Section Academic Champions

Winners of the 2014-2015 CIF Southern Section Academic Awards were announced last week, and Flintridge Prep had three team champions among them. Seven Prep sports teams were in the top five for Prep’s enrollment category.

Flintridge Prep Academic Team Champions

• Football 3.68 GPA
• Boys Soccer 3.74 GPA
• Boys Water Polo 3.69 GPA

The awards program is sponsored by Southern California Ford dealers with the assistance of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The highest GPA in each sport determines the winner for each enrollment category.

Additionally, Elliott Witter ’15 and Lauren Au ’15 were named by CIF as Prep’s Student Athletes of the Year.
