Walden 5th Graders Designs and Builds Miniature Monuments Commemorating US Historical Events

Walden School 5th graders in Janet and Jordan’s class designed and built their own miniature monuments to commemorate events in US history. The diorama (shown above) stands to honor those lost in one of the county’s ugliest episodes.

Walden School is very proud of its teachers and their commitment to presenting the unflinching truth when it comes to US history. Change is slow, but it begins with children.
