At last Friday’s assembly, Walden School’s Romellus and Whittney kicked off Black History Month with a celebration of song. During their presentation, they introduced several civil rights heroes, and shared the music that accompanied each moment in history.
At the close, Romellus led the school in a song he wrote called “Labels.” Walden School is grateful to the student vocalists, Whittney, and Romellus for sharing their talents and experiences and hope this video inspires you to learn more about the exceptional men and women who work for racial justice.
