Weizmann Day School to Host Free Parenting Workshop with Celebrate Calm Founder Kirk Martin

Weizmann Day School invites the community to attend one of two free parenting workshops with nationally recognized Celebrate Calm founder Kirk Martin on Tuesday, June 10th, 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, June 11th, 9:00 a.m., at Weizmann Day School (1434 N. Altadena Avenue, Pasadena.

During the workshops, Kirk Martin and his son, Casey, will provide parents and teachers with a dozen strategies that will eliminate defiance, disrespect, yelling, bullying, sibling fights, and more that all too often characterize our homes and classrooms. Kirk provides concrete, practical strategies that work with kids of all ages in everyday situations to get your kids to: listen the first time; stop defiance, disrespect, and yelling; stop whining, tantrums and sibling fights; get kids off video games/screens without a fight; create stress-free mornings, homework time and bedtime, and much more.

More than 400,000 parents at 1,200 live events over the past decade have called Kirk Martin’s sessions “practical, life-changing and laugh-out-loud funny.” Count on these three promises:

1) Kirk and his son, Casey, will provide parents and teachers with 15 concrete, practical strategies that work in real-life situations. This isn’t theory. This is hard-hitting, rubber-meets-the-road words and action steps that stop defiance, power struggles, and yelling.

2) Parents will leave raving. Not just happy. RAVING. Is that too bold of a promise? Not when it happens every single time. Count on it!

3) Celebrate Calm will help everyone change not just their lives, but also their kids.
