JV Tennis traveled to the South Bay and defeated Chadwick 18-0. Varsity Tennis hosted the Dolphins and had a very strong showing defeating Chadwick 12-6.

The Tigers had a tough day in Altadena against the Mayfield Cubs 251-235. Leading for the Tigers was Niamh James ’14 with 44, Andrea Li ’16 with 45 and jackie Pai ’14 with 49. This was a rough patch on an otherwise terrific Tuesday.

The day started a little flat, but fierce. The Tigers beat Webb 25-17, 27-25. Juliana Favela ’17 had 5 digs and Iris Worley ’17 added 4 aces!

JV Volleyball thought winning in two was a good idea as well. The Tigers went 25-22, 25-21 for the match. Ashley Fowler ’17 had 9 kills and Jasmine Lin ’15 19 assists, while Sydney Norris ’15 contributed 5 digs.

Varsity made it interesting falling behind after the first game and giving the fans a little scare, 19-25. Carmen Costa ’14 decided that wasn’t going to happen again and was on fire in games two and three, 25-13, 25-16.

It was a true team effort all the way with so many Tigers having amazing stats — Costa had 16 kills, Natalie Martinez ’15 added 14. Meagan MacPhee was unstoppable at the net with five blocks. Martinez also had 5 blocks and Sasha Vasquez ’15 added 4. Michelle Aguirre ’16 and 18 digs and was everywhere on the floor!! And, freshman Angelica Raymundo added 49 assists, 10 digs and 3 aces.

JV Tennis and F/S Volleyball remain undefeated.
