Westridge School’s Eighth Grade Recognition Ceremony

On Tuesday, Westridge School held its 8th Grade Recognition Ceremony, officially celebrating the end of Middle School for the Class of 2020. The event, held inside the Fran Norris Scoble Performing Arts Center, featured a performance of the Beatle’s In My Life by members of the 8th grade chorus and orchestra. Each student reflected upon her middle school years in a slideshow presentation, and class president Isabella Grigorian addressed her peers and the audience. Upon receiving their certificates and singing the school song, “Surgere Tentamus” (We Strive to Rise), the Class of 2020 was officially introduced to the crowd as upper schoolers.
