Yes we know that Cinco de Mayo isn’t really celebrated in Mexico, but that doesn’t stop you and your friends and neighbors from celebrating the holiday every spring.

And you usually go to El Torito to do that. This time, let Cinco De Mayo and El Torito come to your place.

There are some terrific takeout/delivery/curbside pick-up options from Pasadena’s El Torito location.

The meals feature the chain’s fresh California ingredients and authentic Mexican flavors, and all you need to provide is family, or some friends with masks and gloves and a sense of distance! (Six feet away from the tortillas, please.)

El Torito has created a Fiesta Taco kit and a pitcher of house margaritas for $50. You can Build your own Tacos with two choices from the chicken, steak or carnita offerings.  The kit also includes corn or flour tortillas, rice, refried beans or frijoles de la olla, shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, chips & salsa and sweet corn cake, along with a pitcher of margaritas. You can also upgrade to a pitcher of “Cadillac” Margaritas for only five bucks.

Maybe fajitas are mas bueno for you?  There’s also a fiesta fajita kit and a pitcher of house margaritas for $60. Choose from either Chicken or Steak.  again, the kit includes corn or flour tortillas, grilled veggies, guacamole, rice, refried beans or frijoles de la olla, chips and salsa and sweet corn cake. plus a pitcher of margaritas. And of course, you can upgrade to a pitcher of Cadillac Margaritas for five bucks.

And you’re already parked, and the music is on, so, there’s that.
